A willingness to be wrong
In each moment we have the opportunity to create anew, to redefine who we are, to let go of past beliefs and behaviours that are no longer serving us - or are no longer true.
By bringing consciousness to this moment, exploring what is, being open to Truth and not being defined by our past thinking or past behaviours - we can begin again.
What if your beliefs were "wrong?"
Would you be willing to let them go?
Would you be open to the Truth?
Or have you attached your identity so tightly to that belief, that you will allow it to cripple you, despite knowing the truth - allowing your ego to win?
What are the costs?
What are you missing out on?
Who are you hurting most?
Although I love being right - I'm wrong a lot.
I learn, update and move on - and apologize when needed.
It requires self awareness, humility and grace.
There's been a lot of course correction in my life, but that means I'm willing to be wrong and am open to learning and growing, which I'm proud of.
I'm committed to discovering the Truth.
I may take a windy path to get there - but I'd rather know what's right than just fuel my ego's need to be right.
What about you? Are you willing to be wrong or committed to being right?
