Avoiding only delays the inevitable
Avoiding what’s meant to be is futile.
The reality is, we’re here to get what we need to get – lesson and growth wise – so no matter how many times we drop the “ball” or avoid it all together, someone’s going to throw another ball until we learn to catch it.
That’s the point.
It’s not likely enough to get something or someone out of your life or to quit a particular habit – it may seem helpful in the moment, but if you reintroduce that person, thing or habit without doing the work – then you’re just putting off the inevitable.
The work meaning, dealing with the challenge at a cause level, and working with the energy underneath the stories.
I discovered this with my weakness around sugar. I easily removed it from my diet for almost a year, and yet, once I reintroduced it, all my discipline flew out the window. I avoided dealing with the energetics and the feelings around why I reach for it in the first place. Eliminating it didn’t address what was really important.
Alternately, perhaps instead of working on a relationship, you just end it. Do you wonder why the same person keeps showing up in another outfit? You didn’t get the gift.
It’s all for you. For your evolution. For your ultimate Soul growth.
Since it’s going to keep coming back around until you do “get it,” why not get started on the fun work now?
Catch it, don’t miss it!
