Focus on what you want
When I was pregnant with our second child, I wanted to have a midwife and a home birth. We compromised and agreed on having a midwife – but with a hospital delivery.
23 years ago today, my spirited daughter Taylor made her very grand and unexpected entrance into the world – at home – and helped me to get what I wanted.
Not only did she complete our family beautifully – I now had both a son and a daughter – but I also got to have the joy of a home birth.
Thank you sweetheart, what a gift.
Isn’t it beautiful how things work out for our higher good?
A common theme I notice in my life is that it’s when I’ve released the attachment to something being a certain way that it creates even more space for it to happen.
Having preferences versus needs.
Ultimately there’s a greater plan at work, and there could be something even better in store for you – beyond your imagination – so hold things lightly and be open to what serves your highest good.
