Forgive and release

As I begin my process of reviewing the current year and planning for the New Year, I’m taking time to reflect on all that I want to “leave behind,” all that I am choosing to surrender to Source, all that I am choosing to not carry into 2021.

It has been an extraordinary year in so many ways and I am so grateful for all that I have learned, for all of the ways that I have grown and for how blessed I truly am.

And yet, despite the progress I am making, I still have many shortcomings and character defects; places where I have not been forgiving, unresolved anger, judgements, resentment, etc.

So I begin the process of writing out all that I want to release and all that I choose not to take into the New Year with me – with the intention to burn the paper and surrender it all on New Year’s Eve.

If you want your life to be different, you have to be different. If you want things to change, you have to change.

What are you willing to leave behind? What’s not going to serve you as you head into the New Year?
