Get out of the way

I am here to be a conduit. A vehicle. A vessel.

In A Course in Miracles, there’s a beautiful prayer that I repeat often that asks, “Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? What would you have me say and to whom?”

It reminds me that it’s not about me, that I am just a faucet for Love to flow through.

It’s about surrendering to this moment, to Truth, to the Divine, to Source.

Allowing this body to be used.

To be here in service.

I ask to be used as an instrument of Peace, Compassion, Oneness and Love. To use my hands and my feet; to guide my words, my thinking and my actions.

We each play an important role while here on this beautiful planet and it’s probably not what you think it is.

I trust that I’m on the right path, despite not being clear on what I am supposed to be “doing,” often not feeling purposeful, not feeling like I’m enough and feeling like I’m making a mess of things.

I continue to surround myself with brilliant mentors who reveal what I need to hear next. Who nudge me. And remind me. Who keep me hopeful and inspired and persistent in my right actions.

I am willing to see things differently, willing to do things differently and willing to be different.

I just need to remember to get out of the way and be the best vessel I can be.
