Have compassion
As we move through life – in person or online – it helps to remember that we never really know what’s going on for another human – why they think what they think, feel what they feel or do what they do. We don’t know what’s happening behind closed doors or what’s really going on before or after that “happy” picture or post.
I remind myself that we are each on our own journey and everyone is awakening in their own way, at their own time – myself included – and that part of my job is to hold space for that to happen, to be a light and to send love.
I remind myself that we’ve all had a childhood – and there are wounds, limiting beliefs and stored emotions that are impacting each of us at a conscious and subconscious level. The wounded wound.
I also remind myself that I can’t expect people to operate beyond their level of consciousness in that moment.
I have to remember that the current levels of stress and fear effect people in different ways – especially given that the majority of people aren’t empowered with energetic tools that can transform slow energy.
Sometimes the most compassionate and loving thing I can do is to get to work on me, focusing on my own energy field and energy levels – being a light for others, showing the way, being an instrument for Love – being the change.
We are all on this planet together – doing what we believe is right in the moment – based on what we believe to be true, with the information we have, at the conscious level we’re at and with the childhood we’ve experienced.
And when people know better, my hope is that they will do better.
I believe that people are innately good and that we are all One – that you are me, and I am you.
