I don't believe in masks
I’m not anti-mask. I am pro-choice and pro freedom.
I’m grateful to live in a country where – for the most part – we are free and I certainly don’t take those freedoms for granted, especially now.
That’s partly what concerns me about being told to wear a mask – from the beginning, it felt symbolic – like a sign of submission or of being marked – and it felt like it was a sign of what was to come – and of what will still come if we continue to allow it to.
Consider brushing up on your Nazi history if you don’t know what I mean.
I choose not to wear a mask.
But you do you – and I say that from a very loving, peaceful, grounded place.
I respect whatever decision you make.
If a mask makes you feel safer, please wear one.
If you choose not to wear a mask, I’m grateful to see another face and your beautiful smile.
Please respect my choice and I will respect yours.
Know that I come from a place of love and only want peace, love, respect and unity for everyone.
We live in a free country and I encourage you to do your research, to think for yourself, and to do what feels right for you and your family.
In my opinion, masks are not effective and the long-term consequence and affects for everyone physically, mentally, and emotionally are not even being considered. My heart truly breaks when I see a child wearing a mask and I can’t even fathom what this is going to do to them longterm.
I get that it’s easy to headline read and to let people do the work for you, but I implore you to please take the time to do your own unbiased, extensive research. If after you do your research you still conclude to wear a mask, cool. Just please don’t do it because the masses are or because you are being told to.
Please think for yourself, that’s all I ask.
Who are “they” anyway? When did “they” become smarter than your inner knowing? When did “they” suddenly know what’s best for you, your body and for your children?
Sometimes we have to do what’s hard – what’s unpopular – instead of taking the easy path and just doing what everybody else is doing – especially when the narrative is making you wrong for doing it.
Knowing the ineffectiveness of a mask means to me that the fact that we are being forced to wear one is more of a statement of power and control versus concern for our well-being and health.
It’s not healthy to breathe in your own toxins. It’s not healthy to stay locked up. It’s not healthy to not be with your loved ones. It’s not healthy to not hug or not be touched. It’s not healthy for children to not play with their friends. It’s not healthy for people to be in fear. It’s not healthy for people to not be working. It’s not healthy for people to be in a constant state of stress.
It saddens me to see the divisiveness – hearing stories of people making each other wrong, people judging each other for their choices, people calling police or bylaw officers on one another – and the shaming and “cancel culture” that has become a virus in and of itself.
This is what “they” want.
They know that together we are stronger – WE just can’t forget that.
Throughout this past year one of the greatest gifts that I received was the practice of compassion.
I’ve realized that if I believed what you believe and listened to what you listen to, I’d probably wear a mask too. I’m sure I’d be terrified.
That’s why it’s so important to be the gatekeeper of your mind and to not let in all of the fear and negative programming. It takes effort, but it’s so important and your health and wellbeing – and sanity – depends on it.
For me, that means eliminating news, eliminating (or reducing) social media, eliminating (or limiting) negative people – and even family if need be.
Eliminate fear by doing your own research and empowering yourself. The Truth will set you free.
Stop surrounding yourself with people who are in fear and who focus on the news and the virus.
Question who you listen to and what their intentions are. Do they really have your best interests in mind? Do your due diligence. It’s on you who you “let in.”
Be still enough to listen to your body and your inner knowing – your higher self – Source.
I wish more people knew what I knew – and yet, I know we’re each on our own journey and my beliefs aren’t for everyone – and they certainly don’t fit the mainstream… until they do.
I’m not special, what I know to be true is freely available to everyone – but you’ve got to want it and commit yourself to doing the work. It’s a daily practice. It’s a lifetime commitment.
I’m not here to put my beliefs on anyone or to judge you for yours, I simply want to plant the seed of hope and offer possibility – a different way of being and thinking – and you can choose to read or not, and you can choose to act or not.
I have studied energy medicine for over 10 years and in that time I have developed an unwavering belief, an absolute certainty and a deep knowingness – that my body heals itself – that the Power that made the body, heals the body. I still appreciate conventional medicine, however, it’s my last resort – not my first.
I understand this belief is not true for the masses and you are absolutely entitled to your own beliefs. I know my way of thinking is contrary to popular opinion – although that is changing as we speak – and it’s certainly not what our schools are teaching or what Big Pharma would want you to know.
Everything is energy.
The virus is simply an energy pattern.
In my belief, my calibration (or energy level) and the calibration of the virus do not match, so I have zero fear around this so-called “superbug.” It’s just energy.
My energy level is a byproduct of the work I do on myself each and every day energetically and spiritually and is impacted by the foods I eat and what I drink, how much I sleep I get and the quality of that sleep, how I move my body, who I surround myself with and of course the conscious work I do around my thinking, beliefs and emotions.
I am very proactive in my health – I know it’s a direct result of the accumulated choices I make.
In this pool of fear that we are collectively swimming in, it wouldn’t take much for my calibration to drop and thereby open the door for a virus to walk in – so it’s an all day, everyday game of being intentional and keeping my energy levels high.
I am solely responsible for my health and energy. I don’t look to anyone to tell me what’s best for me – I listen to my own body and to Source. I’m actively educating myself and learning from healthy, vibrant, awake mentors who understand energy and empower people to heal themselves and to reveal their true magnificence.
The time to value your health – both mentally and physically – is now.
This is not the time to be sedentary, to disappear into the abyss of Netflix, to eat processed foods and drink alcohol excessively and any other ways you’ve discovered to numb yourself from the outside world.
I do these things too, but it’s about moderation and discipline, knowing each of these decisions are actually taking you away from your true purpose.
Your body needs you more than ever right now.
Nourish your body with healthy foods. Drink water – all. day. long. Move your body. Meditate. Do yoga. Get outside. Deep breath. Think positive thoughts. Explore your beliefs. Surround yourself with positive people. Fill your mind with positive words through what you read, listen to and watch. Spend time in nature. Study something new. Train your mind. Get in your body.
Find ways to soothe your soul. Do what brings you joy and happiness. Hug someone. Be the change. Be love. Be kind. Practice gratitude. Smile. Laugh. Dream. Sing and dance. Play. Bless your neighbours and loved ones.
Honour the Truth of your being.
Most importantly – raise your energy levels and keep them high – and lead with love and peace.
I wrote this while sitting by the river, with the sun warming my face despite the temperature being -11 C. Part of my daily practice is spending time in nature, being with Mother Earth. She’s available for each of us and will uplift your energy just by being with her. My invitation to you would be to really experience nature, be fully present, surrender all of your thoughts and worries and appreciate each step you take. It will fill your heart and soul like no other.
