Keep planting seeds
I’m looking at the year ahead much like I would if I were a farmer or a gardener.
If I want to harvest a great crop by the end of the year, I must ensure that I’m planting seeds, watering, fertilizing – and tending to the weeds.
It’s not glamourous.
Do the right things, long enough, consistently and you’ll reap the rewards.
… and then rinse and repeat.
If you looked back at 2020 and weren’t happy with your harvest, there really is only one person who is responsible. Somewhere along the way, a step was skipped. Maybe you forgot to fertilize? Maybe you didn’t water? Maybe you didn’t even plant the seeds to begin with.
Regardless, it’s a new year and you may not be able to plant seeds literally – but you can start planting seeds in the form of what you are reading and listening to, the daily actions you’re taking and the habits you are choosing to form. These “seeds” you can be planting all year long.
You are in control of it all.
What will your harvest look like in the fall?
