Keeping my head down

There are more distractions than ever these days, but I get to choose where my attention goes.

I get to choose what I will participate in.

I get to choose how I will react or respond.

I get to choose how each moment will serve me.

I get to choose my “come from.”

There are definitely moments where I get sucked into the drama transpiring around me, but for the most part, I’m able to separate myself from all of the craziness and keep focused on what’s really important, the bigger picture, the Truth.

This requires discipline.

I currently choose to limit my interactions, because quite frankly, my mind isn’t refined enough to stay on subject yet – to stay on this body and not allow my energy to be completely dispersed. 

Like each of us, I’m a beautiful work in progress.

What I do know for sure is that I’m here to serve; to shine my light, to be an instrument for Love and to Be the change I want to see in this amazing world.

So for now, I’ll keep my head down and do what needs to be done so that I can serve at the highest level when I’m called.
