Look for what you want
Whether positive or negative, you get what you expect; you get what you look for.
Are you a person who’s looking for the worst or the best in people?
Subconsciously people feel that and unknowingly raise or lower their performance based on what’s expected of them.
Are you giving people a high standard to live up to?
If you’re not getting the result that you consciously want, then perhaps it’s time to look at how you’re perceiving the situation and what your come from is.
When dealing with people – whether that’s your children, team members or the clerk at the grocery store – look for what you want and sincerely praise that quality to inspire more of it.
Better still, give that person the gift of believing in them.
