Making room for abundance

I have a little game that I play each day on the trail, which includes finding feathers.

It completely delights me when I find one and I am thrilled by the collection I have accumulated.

Yesterday I found a beautiful white feather and instead of sticking it in my phone case as I usually do, I kept holding onto it and playing with it throughout my walk.

When I approached a dog on the trail, I carefully tucked the feather in my pocket so I had two hands free to greet the puppy. After we said our goodbyes, I stuck my hand in my pocket to grab the feather again – but it was gone.

Shit.

I was going to turn back and see if I could find it, but chose to let it go and accept what is.

Within moments I found another feather – and then another and another and another and another.

Pure bliss.

This was a great reminder for me to make room for abundance to flow in and that we can’t keep clutching onto things, expecting to be able to receive the next miracle.

I’m also reminded that the Universe – Divine, Source, God – knows better than us and there’s always a better plan than we can imagine.

Let go of attachments and allow the abundance to flow in!
