Only you are stopping you
What limits are you putting on yourself?
What are you buying into – that may not be true?
What false beliefs have you adopted and never explored or let go of?
Where are you not pushing back?
Where have you put yourself in a small box?
Think about the story of how elephants are trained.
They place a chain around one of the baby elephants legs, that’s secured to ensure that no matter what the baby elephant can’t get away.
Eventually the will of the elephant is broken and it no longer needs to be securely chained. When the elephant feels the chain tug on their leg, it’s enough to stop them. Even the strongest elephants – who could easily break the chain – are conditioned to not pull beyond a certain point.
Where in your life have you succumb to false limits?
Or maybe you see a door that’s closed and you just assume it’s locked – have you even tried to turn the handle to see what would happen?
Are you blindly following rules that you’ve been told to follow?
Is there really anything stopping you – or is it just you?
Maybe it’s time to see what you’re really made of and knock down some of those doors?
