People want to know you care
Have you ever experienced working for someone who didn't care about you?
Have you experienced the opposite - where they truly cared about you, they were FOR you, they appreciated and valued you and made you feel like part of a family?
I have thankfully experienced both and it was absolutely an eye opener.
Although it was not a fun experience working for someone who didn't truly care about his team or customers, it was definitely the medicine I needed at the time and I can honestly say that I grew so much and am better equipped because of it.
Whether you're part of a team - or a customer - people want to know you care.
In all of your relationships, people want to know you care.
No amount of money will replace genuinely caring or being interested in someone and wanting them to succeed and be happy.
People know if you care - and if you don't - they can feel it either way.
So lead with love. Be genuinely interested. Care deeply.
Put people before your goals. Put people before money.
When people know that you truly care, that's when the magic can happen.
