The mystery of the night sky
Tonight was an absolutely perfect fall evening – peaceful and inviting – and a wonderful alternative to my time spent with Mother Earth down by the river. I’m happy to get lost in the starry sky especially on such a clear night that showcased the stars and the moon so beautifully.
As I walked through the neighbourhood, it struck me that behind each closed door is a family. A story. Many stories.
I often think about all of the stories that will be told 10, 20 even 50 years from now about this “pandemic” and the impact it’s had on each person’s life. No life has been left untouched. Somehow everyone has been effected – positively or negatively.
As I looked up at the night sky, I pondered “what am I not seeing?” There’s such a vast universe that lies beyond what our naked eye can perceive.
I wonder what story the stars have? What do “they” think watching down on all of us crazy humans doing our thing here? It must be quite entertaining to watch.
We can get so caught up in such meaningless things when at a physical level, we’re each just a spec of stardust in this incredible galaxy.
