'Tis the Season
The evening began with a couple of delicious festive beverages from our local coffee shop to get us caffeinated and in the holiday mood – my annual treat is a gingerbread latte – and then we got at ‘er.
Christmas music blasting, lugging of boxes, sorting through decorations, assembling the tree, reminiscing, singing, hanging lights, finding places for all of the Santa hats…
I slipped away for a class and when I returned – voila, the final touches were beautifully done.
Taylor had decorated the tree, lit up our back deck with lights, found the perfect place for each decoration and made everything cozy and warm – she has a real knack for that.
This will be an extra special Christmas for many reasons – the main one for me, being that it will likely be our last Christmas just the four of us together – Josh, Taylor, Koby and I.
I plan on treasuring each moment.
I truly am so blessed and wish an abundance of blessings and miracles to you and your loved ones.
And so the holiday season begins…
