When you fall off center

It happens.

The key is to have what you have – feel what you feel – and then return to breath and the Truth of your being.

One of the ways that I am able to measure my growth is how much faster I can “recover” or return to center after I’ve fallen off course.

Today was one of those days.

This morning I totally lost my shit.

I let my mind run off the deep end and I totally lost my footing.

After letting the bear out of the cage, I found my way back, got control of my mind, discovered some great insights, made the necessary apologies and did what I needed to do to take care of myself – which was to be outside, breathe, and remind myself of the Truth.

In this moment, all is good.

I am not this physical body.

I am a spiritual, energetic being having this beautiful experience here on the physical, mortal realm.

Everything is happening FOR me.

I am truly blessed.

Even as I write this, I’m finding such peace, calm and deep surrender in just returning to breath, coming onto self and into my body – fully present.

Our minds are powerful, and we have to be diligent in our training of them, otherwise we diminish our power and become susceptible to our external circumstances.

You’ll fall off center – and that’s ok – just get back up and begin again.

Remind yourself of the Truth of your being. Return to breath.

Remember that your mind can be your greatest friend – or your greatest foe.

Take control of your mind – it’s there to serve you.
